Integrity Institute Submits Response to USAID’s Global AI Playbook

On March 1, 2024, the Integrity Institute submitted a comprehensive response to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) concerning their AI in Global Development Playbook. This submission is a crucial step in our ongoing commitment to shaping the responsible and equitable development and use of Artificial Intelligence globally.

The key focus of our submission revolves around AI transparency, education, and implications in global majority countries. We emphasize the importance of tailoring best practices around AI to the unique challenges and opportunities presented in diverse global contexts. Our Integrity Institute member insights shed light on the impact of AI in global majority countries, aiming to strike a balance between technological advancements and the well-being of individuals in these countries.

As we advocate for ethical and responsible AI practices, our submission encourages a collaborative approach, especially in educating and empowering communities in global majority countries to harness the benefits of AI.
